We are looking for a Retail Sales Trainer to join our well-established clients busy Travelplanners Department, based in Loughton, Essex.

The tour operator seeks highly motivated, hardworking sales professionals. The company has proudly been trading for over 30 years and offers high quality, value for money travel components to its large customer base.

The benefits include; an annual salary package of £24,000 per annum plus realistic sales commission earnings of an additional £4,000 or more per year, 28 days holidays (including bank holidays), Fam trips and private medical insurance.

The working hours are Monday – Friday and 9.00am to 5.30pm.

The travel consultants’ deal with incoming telephone calls and emails creating USA holiday packages with an exceptional level of customer service applied. Our state of the art technology helps you achieve our high standards of service and sales with confidence. The successful candidate will have a passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing to ensure a high training standard of new and existing staff in all of our core systems, products and destinations.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years minimum recent retail travel sales experience required dealing with the public direct
• Previous telephone/email sales would be preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of USA geography and other destinations essential
• First-hand experience of travelling to the USA would be beneficial
• Previous team working experience essential
• A highly competent level of keyboard, PC skills and use of a variety of systems along with excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Airline reservation system experience would be ideal
