The Role

We are looking for a Database Development Agent to join the growing team to assist with the technical support and development of the custom in-house databases.   This is a new role which requires previous experience with Filemaker, and all experience levels will be considered.

Working within a small team you will provide assistance across all areas of the Company's business, aiding the Senior Database Developer and Head of Data to deliver technical support and system improvements.  This position is responsible for supporting, maintaining and suggesting development of infrastructure and applications, with a focus on the Company's core database applications in Filemaker (and also Salesforce).  Candidates will be responsible for reacting to user-generated system bug fix and change requests as well as proactively reviewing and improving systems by understanding user requirements.  On-site training of the in-house systems will be provided.

Responsibilities

• 1^st and 2^nd line support and development, and administrative responsibility for FileMaker applications (primary).  This includes (but is not limited to) user access queries and administration, bug fixes and user issues, interface and data file amendments.
• 1^st and 2^nd line support and development, and administrative responsibility for Salesforce application (secondary).

Required experienced

• FileMaker development experience
• High level of understanding of relational databases

Desirable experience

• Experience in implementing Filemaker's PHP API into solutions
• Experience with SQL commands and syntax
• Experience in UI design
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Authentication
• Salesforce experience – usage, development, administration
