Description

Mosaic Accountancy Recruitment have an immediate requirement for a hard-working and all rounded Accounts Assistant for an independent company based in Harlow.

Our client can offer you a warm and welcoming working atmosphere, along with support from a small friendly team.

This is initially a 6 month PTC (20 hours per week) working with a small team and a possibility of the contract being extended or even made permanent for the right candidate.

We are looking for an all-rounder that has experience with using SAGE, but most of all a good attitude to work and is good at working to deadlines.

Main responsibilities:

  • Enter and code financial transactions appropriately
  • Process payments as well as documents such as invoices
  • Reconcile invoices received with departmental billings
  • Issue invoices to customers based on services rendered and/or goods sold
  • Make and track payments
  • Make bank deposits and keep up records
  • Track expenses as they relate to specific projects and jobs
  • Validate invoices against items or services received
  • Check all financial transactions for accuracy
  • Key data into company accounting system
  • Disburse funds as needed

Additional requirements:

  • SAGE experience
  • Great telephone manner
  • Flexible

Working days are Monday to Friday.
