Location: Just outside Hertford SG13
Salary: £25,000 or £13.74ph
Hours: TBC
Department: Membership Team
Reports to: Membership Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Membership Executive to join our dynamic Membership Team within the motor industry. This is an exciting opportunity to support and grow a thriving network of professionals, businesses, and organisations in the automotive sector. You will play a key role in delivering excellent service to our members and supporting retention, engagement, and recruitment efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member Support & Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for member queries via phone, email, and online channels
- Ensure a professional and helpful approach to all member interactions
- Maintain strong relationships with existing members and support retention efforts
- Membership Administration
- Process new member applications and renewals accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and update member records on the CRM system
- Prepare welcome packs and renewal reminders
- Assist with invoicing and payment follow-ups
- Recruitment & Marketing Support
- Support campaigns aimed at attracting new members
- Attend industry events, shows, and exhibitions to promote membership
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials and communications
- Data & Reporting
- Provide regular reports on membership trends, joiners/leavers, and engagement metrics
- Ensure data accuracy and GDPR compliance
- Project Support
- Support the Membership Manager with projects aimed at increasing member value
- Assist with organising member webinars, training sessions, and networking events
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Friendly, confident, and professional approach to customer interactions
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
