Description
Job Title: Scheduling Coordinator
Location: Harlow
Salary: £30,000 plus bonuses
Hours: 8-5 or 9-6 (40 hours)Monday to Friday plus
1 in 4 Saturday or Sunday shift 
  • Saturday 8 AM – 5 PM or
  • Sunday 8 AM – 4 PM
  • Both days would be worked from home, with weekend shifts on a 1 in 4/5 rota (depending on annual leave).
No days off in lieu will be provided for the week you work a weekend, meaning you would effectively be working a six-day week 1 in 4.

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Scheduling to join our fast-paced team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient scheduling of jobs, appointments, and resources while meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and NPS ( Net promoted score)  The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and able to work under pressure while delivering excellent service to both clients and internal teams.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate jobs, appointments, and workforce allocations to approx.17 engineers..
  • Ensure all scheduling activities align with business KPIs, including efficiency, response times, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage real-time changes, cancellations, and urgent scheduling requests.
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, field staff, or service teams to ensure smooth job execution.
  • Track and report on KPI performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records using scheduling software and internal systems.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Work closely with management to optimise resource allocation and improve efficiency.
  • Adhere to company policies and industry regulations to maintain compliance.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a scheduling, coordination, or workforce planning role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while meeting strict KPIs.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to manage last-minute changes efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with teams and clients effectively.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in scheduling tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and scheduling software.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads effectively.
  • Experience working with KPIs and performance metrics in a target-driven environment.
