  • Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 p.a. depending on experience

About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and creative Digital Marketing Executive to join a growing team! This role covers the full marketing mix, with a strong emphasis on managing multi-channel digital campaigns, audience growth, and content creation—particularly through LinkedIn Ads.
 
Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in executing day-to-day marketing operations across two companies within the group. You’ll act as a brand ambassador and help reimagine events beyond traditional formats by launching engaging podcasts, webinars, and roundtables.
 
With new regulations, an increasing focus on heat networks and the push toward Net Zero targets the company are in an exciting growth phase and they need a marketing expert who can engage new audiences and drive real results.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Campaigns (LinkedIn Focus)
  • Audience Targeting: Research, define, and segment target audiences for campaigns.
  • Social Media Growth: Manage and grow their LinkedIn presence—their primary channel—by testing new content formats and engagement strategies.
  • Campaign Planning: Work with the Group Marketing Manager to develop LinkedIn campaign strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Content Creation: Write compelling ad copy and collaborate on visual assets for LinkedIn sponsored campaigns.
  • Ad Management: Set up and manage LinkedIn ads, including budgeting, scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
  • Performance Optimisation: Monitor key metrics (CTR, CPC, impressions, conversions) daily and adjust targeting, bids, or creative elements to improve results.
  • A/B Testing: Run split tests to evaluate different ad creatives, headlines, and CTAs for optimal engagement and conversion.
  • Retargeting: Develop and manage retargeting strategies to nurture leads and re-engage website visitors.
  • Lead Generation: Set up and track LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms to capture data and drive pipeline growth.
  • Reporting: Produce regular campaign performance reports, offering insights and recommendations for future strategies.
  • Social Media Scheduling: Plan and schedule engaging posts across LinkedIn and other platforms.
  • Performance Reporting: Deliver reports on key KPIs, engagement, and conversions to stakeholders.
Content Creation & Communications
  • Copywriting: Write compelling content for social media, emails, blogs, and more.
  • Email Marketing: Develop and optimise email campaigns, newsletters, service updates, and promotions.
  • Customer Communications: Oversee customer communications and explore ways to enhance their social presence.
  • Marketing Collateral: Create digital assets, sales support materials, templates, presentations, merchandise, brochures, guides, and event materials.
  • Content Strategy: Identify content gaps and recommend strategies to drive traffic and conversions.
Event Management
  • Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing events, including hospitality, trade shows, webinars, podcasts, and roundtables.
  • Onsite Support: Organise and attend in-person events, seminars, and exhibitions as needed.
Analytics & Optimisation
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor campaign and platform analytics, providing actionable insights for growth.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use insights to refine marketing strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
Website & SEO
  • Website Updates: Maintain and update company websites.
  • SEO Optimisation: Implement improvements to increase traffic and engagement, including content optimisation and keyword monitoring.
  • Innovation: Suggest and implement new website features or content updates.

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Graduate-level education and/or 2 years of B2B marketing experience.
  • 1 year of LinkedIn Ads experience and B2B campaign management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong copywriting skills with a knack for engaging content.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, SEO, and Google Analytics.
  • Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience in event management.
  • Knowledge of Monday.com and AI marketing tools.
