Description
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Shipment Coordination
    • Arrange shipments based on product availability and specific customer requests.
    • Plan and schedule deliveries to meet deadlines and optimise routes.
    • Coordinate with various transport companies and warehouse staff to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
  2. Documentation Management
    • Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
    • Ensure compliance with international and domestic shipping regulations.
    • Maintain accurate records of all shipments and related documentation for audit purposes.
  3. Order Processing
    • Accurately enter order details into internal systems, ensuring all information is up to date.
    • Track orders through their lifecycle and promptly address any issues or delays.
  4. Customer Communication
    • Keep customers informed about the progress of their orders and address any inquiries.
    • Provide updates on delivery schedules and handle any changes or disruptions effectively.
    • Deliver excellent customer service by resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
  5. Collaboration and Coordination
    • Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure products are available and correctly prepared for shipment.
    • Liaise with transport providers to confirm shipping arrangements and resolve logistical challenges.
  6. Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
    • Monitor performance metrics related to logistics and suggest areas for enhancement.
Skills and Qualifications: Essential:
  • Proven experience in a logistics or administrative role.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of shipping and logistics procedures, including customs and compliance regulations.
  • Familiarity with logistics or warehouse management software.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering solutions.
