Customer Service Advisor
  
Our client is a reputable organisation specialising in comprehensive energy solutions. 
  
One of their main services involves metering and billing solutions; calculating and issuing energy (typically heat) bills to residents and providing customer support. They are currently seeking a Customer Service Adviser to join their team.
  
The primary role is to ensure that all customer queries are always dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for all customer inquiries, both by phone and electronically.
  • Respond promptly, professionally, and efficiently to all customer queries.
  • Log and resolve customer complaints with care and attention.
  • Gather and assess relevant information to address product and service inquiries effectively.
  • Organise workflow to meet service level agreements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues and concerns.
  • Manage customer accounts, including allocation and reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Promote the company's mission, aims, and ethos proactively.
  • Participate in marketing plans and activities as required.
  • Assist with other related tasks as assigned by your Manager.
  
  
Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong numeracy skills for handling billing and financial information
  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field preferred
  • Training will be provided for the customer service role within the heat billing department.
  
The Role:
  • Job Location: Bishop Stortford
  • Hours Per Week: 8.30am – 5.00 pm
  • Salary Up to £26,000
  • Role Type: Permanent
  • Reporting to: Customer Solutions Manager
