Description
The role is onsite in Haverhill, you must currently live within commuting distance.
This role is likely to be working 7am-7pm although this is being reviewed so may change slightly, with 4 days on and 4 off, you will be leading a team of 2 in this organisation. 
 
 
Monitor and supervise the production team on shift to achieve the production objectives by -

• Provide guidance, instructions, training and leadership to the team and ensure that the team is working in accordance with the company values,
policies and procedures.
• Plan and set goals for the team to enable the department to achieve its targets
• Aid in recruiting, training and overall development of your staff to ensure they have the effective skills to carry out their day to day objectives in
accordance with companies policies procedures. Monitor and maintain training records
• Lead and motivate the team
• Work and support other departments to aid the business to reach its objectives
• Attend, support and participate in business meeting to help support their role and others
• Identify and support opportunities for improvement within their areas of responsibility
• Responsible for making the area a safe and clean environment to work in.
• Ensure all procedures and processes are completed/ followed to support continuous production
• Experience in Chemical production and process, able to work to Production Procedure SOP and PFS
• Understanding of COSHH, Risk Assessments and PTW procedures
• Proven leadership skills within a production team
• Excellent communication skills and be able to discuss at all level of the
business
• IT skills including Word, Excel, Power Point
• Good Planning and organisation ability
• The ability to multitask and lead by example
 
Essential -
Experience of working with chemicals
 
Desirable skills -
Chemistry, IOSH, COSHH certificated
• Counterbalance fork truck licence

• Engineering/ Maintenance of
equipment

Knowledge of lab testing methods
(GC HPLC)
• Vacuum Pumps, Feed Pumps, Exothermic reactions
