We are currently seeking a proactive, forward thinking and ambitious Transport Planner who is committed to continual improvement and has a desire to progress their career.
The role will involve supporting the daily operations within Transport and enhancing delivery efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Key Duties
Ensuring efficient and effective planning of all
Ensuring efficient and effective stock transfer between business
Assisting in operational support and coordination as required. Including supervision of staff
Communicating effectively with drivers and warehouse
Managing accuracy during loading.
Supervising stock rotation and stock
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental
Analysing routes with a view to making
Skills/Abilities
Competent user of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
Meticulous planner with excellent organisational
Good problem-solving and analytical
Confident using own initiative and working as an integral team member.
Detail orientated.
CPS certificate in Transport Management desirable.
