Job Description: As a Junior Marketing Assistant, you will be an integral part of our dynamic marketing team, supporting various initiatives to promote our brand and products across multiple channels. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for marketing and a flair for social media and content creation to make a significant impact in a fast-paced commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, with a strong focus on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
- Create engaging and compelling content for social media posts, including images, videos, and written copy, to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Monitor and manage our social media accounts, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop innovative ideas for social media campaigns and promotions.
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth in the digital space.
- Support the creation of content for marketing materials, including blog posts, email newsletters, website content, and advertising copy.
- Assist in the coordination of photo and video shoots, coordinating schedules, and liaising with partners.
- Analyse social media metrics and performance data to track campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing and content creation.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Previous experience in marketing, social media management, or content creation is preferred.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging content tailored to different platforms and audiences.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and social media management tools.
- Creative thinking and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and techniques is a plus.
- Passion for staying ahead of social media trends and emerging technologies.
