The role:
Head Office: Bishops Stortford
Salary: Up to £21,000 - £24,000 depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 8.30am – 5pm
Reporting to: Financial Controller

The role requires an inquisitive nature and an aptitude for developing understanding of the wider role specific processes play in a business’s overall administration.
Principal Activities and Accountabilities:-
Service and Communication
- Demonstrate and champion both internal and external customer service excellence at all times.
- Ensure that incoming communications from all stakeholders are handled quickly and efficiently, ensuring any issues are escalated to the correct resource where necessary.
Finance Functions
- Assisting with ongoing Tariff calculations for the Brokerage team
- Assisting the Head of Billing with ongoing monthly Reconciliations
- Assisting and Maintaining the organisation’s digital document archive
- Assisting with the Processing employee expense claims and credit card receipts
- Other general admin that may be required to support the business
- Assisting with generating and issuing Invoices
- Raising proposed supplier payment runs for approval (when required)
- Assisting with Generating tenant level billing as required
- Assisting with Monthly reconciliation of commission accounts and raising commission invoices (when required)
- Answering and resolving queries (either phone, e-mail or written) from suppliers & customers as required
- There may be other tasks added and this list should not be viewed as exhaustive
To Apply:
- You must be living and authorised to work in the UK to apply for this position.
- AAT Foundation Certificate (preferred)
- Accounts or office experience – 1 year
- GCSE Maths and English of C or equivalent
- Strong IT Skills – MS Office packages, Excel.
- Strong communication skills
- Genuine interest in accountancy
