Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Account Manager/Estimator to join our prestigious client in Harlow.

Do you have the passion to want to progress further within the Construction industry and show your drive, ambition and willingness to be part of a growing company working on £150 million pound projects within London and the South East. 


You will need to be able to drive as there will be regular site visits that need to be attended. Other than the regular site visits, the role is mainly office based in Harlow. The ideal candidate will need to have knowledge around construction building materials . Someone passionate and hungry to prove themselves within the industry and think outside the box on challenging situations.  Someone that can bring their expertise to a role that can be very busy. 
Someone that doesn't mind processing orders as well as leading small projects. 

Salary £30,000-55,000 plus OTE depending on experience 
Hours 8.30-4.30 Monday to Friday

To further our mission, we are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team in the role of Account Manager / Estimator.

Job Summary:
As an Account Manager / Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in executing our commercial strategy to deliver outstanding services to large-scale projects. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing project delivery plans for materials supply to sites, nurturing client relationships, advising on product selection, and collaborating with our supplier network. You will also have the opportunity to shape and lead a delivery team as our business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Commercial Strategy Execution: Collaborate with the commercial team to understand and execute our commercial strategy. This includes driving volume consolidation, cost efficiencies, and value creation through materials procurement.
  2. Project Delivery Planning: Develop and implement project delivery plans for materials supply to sites. This involves meticulous planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure seamless operations and timely deliveries.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor. Provide guidance on product selection and delivery options to best support our clients' project goals.
  4. Supplier Strategy Execution: Assist in the execution of our supplier strategy, collaborating with key suppliers and manufacturers to secure competitive agreements and optimise service delivery.
  5. Resource Development: As the business grows, you will have the opportunity to shape and lead a delivery team. Develop resources, mentor team members, and ensure efficient project management.
  6. Resourcing Strategy: Contribute to the formulation of a resourcing strategy to ensure that we have the right resources in place to manage and service clients' procurement requirements on a project-by-project basis.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or procurement industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes.
  • Excellent project management skills with a focus on planning and delivery.
  • Exceptional communication and client relationship management abilities.
  • Proficiency in understanding technical specifications and advising on product selection.
  • Leadership experience or the potential to lead a delivery team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
