- A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of Bishops Stortford prestigious companies in the heart of Bishops Stortford. This is a newly created role with lots of scope for someone with 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role.
Ideal candidate will have a Legal or Accountancy background but this is not essential as all candidates will be considered providing you have a proven track record of delivering Business Development results.
Salary: £30-40,000 per annum pro rated for part time.
Hours: 9-5.30 Monday to Friday on a hybrid working basis ( 3 office based/2 home based)
**A full clean driving licence is essential for this role as there will networking and other events that will need to be attended**
Main Tasks
- To liaise and work within designated teams to identify and develop new business development opportunities.
- To work with the Business Development and Marketing Team to implement the objectives set out in the annual business plans.
- Manage the firm’s lead management software project alongside the Head of Marketing.
- To identify and attract new clients through business development opportunities
- To understand fully the Firm’s key clients and to develop and strengthen relationships with such clients.
- To increase the Firm’s revenue through business development initiatives
- To maintain good working relationships with staff and keep up-to-date on their BD work progress
- To raise the Firm’s overall external profile
- To promote a culture of growth within the staff through business development opportunities
- To build long term relationships with new and existing clients.
- To conduct research to identify new markets and client needs
- To attend both Firm and external marketing/networking events to represent and promote the Firm. Out of pocket expenses will be paid
- To motivate, develop and inspire fee-earners to deliver business goals
