- Our client is looking to employ an HR Assistant to work alongside their HR Manager supporting 100+ staff on site.
The ideal candidate must be reliable, accurately follow instructions, keep confidentiality and highly organised.
To ensure success, HR assistant should display an understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and precise in the recruitment processes. Qualified through experience but not necessarily CIPD qualified. The candidate must have experience in all HR related duties.
HR Assistant Responsibilities:
• Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests
• Maintain records of employees
• Update internal database (e.g. Sickness absence, maternity leave etc)
• Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks,
and issuing employment contracts
• Onboarding for new employees
• Support supervisors with RTW interviews
• Maintain calendars of the HR manager
• Assist with performance management procedures
• Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas
• Coordinate training sessions
• Perform orientations and update records of new staff
• Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
• Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews
• Answer employees queries HR-related questions
• Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices
• Creating staff newsletters
• Organise meetings and take minutes as required
HR Assistant Requirements:
• Experience as an HR assistant (essential).
• Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office.
• Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to accurately follow instructions.
Salary £25-28,000 plus company bonus and benefits.
Hours 9.00am to 5.30pm
