- LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
Due to continued growth a we are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join the logistics team for a great client.
This would ideally suit somebody who has been in a similar role for 2+ years.
The Role
- £30,000 p.a
- 9-5.30 Monday - Friday Hybrid working after probation period
- Additional benefits
• Log & Track all shipments
• Scheduling of all contracts and shipments directly with suppliers
• Establish freight rates directly with shippers and hauliers
• Establish and verify duty rates
• Ensure all documentation with regard to import regulations with the EEC is in order and correct
• import and export customs entries and declarations
• Liaise with clearing agents in a timely manner to ensure that all documentation is in order and presented to them to avoid excess handling charges
• Providing goods traceability reports for Technical Department
The Person
• 2 years + in Logistics/shipping/transport (essential)
• Knowledge of EU and non-EU import and export processes
• Producing and dealing with international shipping documentation
• Intermediate to advanced in Excel
