My client is a well established and respected practice who are looking to expand their business with this newly created role, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to step up to get involved in managing a team and final accounts sign off. This will enable the Director to focus on business growth and provide further opportunities.
In this role you will be managing 2 bookkeepers and a payroller, their is a varied portfolio of clients who you will take responsibility for, completing their bookkeeping, preparing VAT returns and accounts. This will include bank reconciliation, bookkeeping and accounts preparation, including posting from a trial balance to Iris.
Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
Perform data entry and reconciliations of accounts
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the bookkeeping team
Collaborate with other team members to complete accounting tasks
Qualifications and Experience:
AAT or ACCA qualifications level 3/4 are advantageous, and the company will provide full training to help those that want to further their qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software (XERO, SAGE, IRIS)
