- Description
- We are currently seeking to employ a highly skilled payroll administrator to join our clients expanding payroll department.
The job would involve the processing of monthly payroll along with monthly CIS submissions for a wide variety of clients, across a number of sectors.
The role is part time and my client could look at accommodating between 18-25 hours and is flexible on days and start times.
Training will be given and there will be room to further your role within the practice and develop your knowledge and skills.
Key responsibilities:
• Processing end to end high-volume payroll
• Statutory payments, Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay, PAYE and National Insurance etc
• Processing of Year End procedures
• Provide 1st line support for payroll queries
• Liaise with HMRC when required
• Ability to process manual calculations and monthly CIS Submissions
Qualifications:
• Essential is experience of Sage 50 or Moneysoft payroll
• 3 years' experience working in a busy payroll function (ideally in a payroll bureau or Chartered Accountancy practice)
• Ability to work on own initiative, working within a team and the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multitask
