- Mosaic Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join a large organisation based in Hoddesdon, this is a temporary position for approx. 3 months.
You will be the first point of contact and provide an effective, efficient and welcoming responsive customer service by phone, electronic and other media, or in person, to satisfactorily meet the many and varied needs of both internal and external customers.
Key Duties:
- Ensure an excellent and effective customer service is delivered at all times, across all media types, and in person, by efficiently addressing the needs of customers, using active listening skills to diagnose solutions to a wide range of customer issues.
- Resolve customer issues at first contact; ensuring full and proper recording.
- Create records to enable emergency and other repairs to be properly addressed.
- Keep customers informed by continual liaison with all parties.
- Take up-front payments, where appropriate.
- Check and process invoices to enable authorisation by others.
- Maintain databases, computer systems and other records to support and enhance the customer experience.
- Produce information for internal and external customers at all levels.
- Know when to seek support from colleagues to help with complex matters.
- Work flexibly with colleagues to ensure phone cover during all business hours.
- Direct customers, both internal and external, wanting assistance to appropriate team members in other Departments.
- Carry out administrative and clerical tasks as required, including reception cover.
- Work cooperatively within the Property Team and the Association to ensure the objectives of the organisation, the team and individuals are met.
- Experience of working with people in a customer service or call centre environment.
- Experience of working with administrative processes.
- Active listening skills enabling the identification and resolution of customer issues.
- Good IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and databases).
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
