- My client is going through a growth period who has recently received a large investment to build on recent growth.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced management accountant or analyst, you must be adept at the soft analysis alongside the financial outputs.
You will be focussing on the side of the business that are not easily quantifiable financially, e.g. soft benefits, quantifying the affect on the product on customers lives, ensuring records of expenditure are justified and robust.
Duties:
- Future income planning and forecasting with head of business.
- Support the preparation of business cases for spend
- Support the preparation of projected yearly financial statements.
- Budgeting.
- To deliver a monthly financial reporting process.
- Stand in for the other Management Accountant in the production of monthly management accounts when required.
- To provide input to the Financial Controller in areas such as processes and efficiencies, governance and Internal Audit.
- To provide input to the Head of Finance regarding structures of budgets and the alignment of actual costs to them and any related issues.
- Fully Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA.
- Strong academic record to degree level.
- Budget preparation, forecasts and cost variance analysis.
- Preparation of financial business cases.
- Microsoft Excel – intermediate to advanced level.
