- My client has had continued growth and has a newly created role to join a stable, highly competent team. This role is primarily office based but for the right person a day a week working from home would be an option.
You will be managing a team and must have some supervisory experience.
You will be an experienced finance/accounts professional, providing team management, and overseeing the finance department daily functions.
Reporting to the Head of Finance; this new role is to support growth objectives and upcoming project improvements.
You will have experience of managing a team, and have ACCA, CIMA or be qualified by experience.
Key Duties Include: ·
- Managing the Finance team day to day ensuring all relevant deadlines and objectives are consistently met.
- Working closely with Head of Finance to drive continuous improvement in the department, increasing efficiencies of existing processes
- Supporting the HoF with budgetary preparations
- Leading monthly cost centre analysis and providing commentary
- Oversee the preparation of management accounts and information to ensure it is completed in line with month end schedules
- Preparing detailed variance analysis and commentary
- Ensuring all Balance Sheet reconciliations and controls are completed in a timely manner each month, in addition to ensuring any historical items are investigated and resolved
- Responsible for year end process and relationship with accountants.
