- Our client is the leading body in the UK, you will be managing a small team to ensure expectations of membership are met and adhered to.
This is a hybrid position with flexibility around days and frequency but as you are managing a team some time in the office each week will be expected.
- Ensuring assessments are consistent, monitored and actioned upon.
- Auditing assessment reports and delivery of any corrective action
- Ensuring corrective measures are met and implemented long term
- Manage any non-conformance
- Identify ways the process can be improved
- Update and maintain competency criteria for team members
- Recruit and train new assessors into the business
- Ensure assessors are timetabled accordingly for visits
- Liaise regularly with the new members team
- Coaching new team members
- Minimum science, engineering, or construction qualification
- Experience of all aspects of quality management systems delivery, particularly continual improvement, training and capability and assurance, in a quality critical environment (will consider Health and Safety and/or Environmental management systems experience).
- Organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to comfortably communicate and liaise at all levels both internally and externally, building relationships.
- Line management experience.
- Ability to explain complex and/or technical matters in a simple and engaging manner.
Other Information:
Some overnight travel will be required within the UK and Ireland in fulfilment of this role,
