- This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Administrator to join a friendly team within a thriving manufacturing business. The role will involve supporting the site teams with all their administrative requirements for the manufacturing operation, welcoming and liaising with visitors and managing the day-to-day office and facility requirements.
This role will appeal to someone who is flexible enjoys a variety and is a confident user of technology.
Duties
Process and complete assembly work orders, keeping Sage X3 updated with Work in Progress batches/ production cuts and Finished Goods batches.
- Provide cover to the Production Planner by raising works order assemblies in their absence.
- Answer and process all incoming phone calls to the
- Sort and organise internal and external post requirements.
- Welcome contractors and visitors to the site, supporting the host with room booking, catering, PPE and Safety Brief sign off.
- Provide site support on the internal and external booking of meeting rooms and hot desks.
- Provide administrative support with regards for completion of Finished Goods, as well as supplier in boarding, Goods-In and Goods-Out processes and archiving, scanning, and filing of hard copy
- Participate in meetings, and support the capture of minutes and
- Consult with suppliers and contractors as requested to support facility maintenance needs and aesthetic upgrades of the facility.
- Raise purchase requests and orders for selected overhead costs (e.g., catering, establishment, office, licensing, training and legal & regulatory). Support the site by monitoring certain consumables for reception, kitchen, office, and toilets area and replenishing, as necessary.
- Support the induction process of new recruits to include signing in/out processes as well as organise the measuring and ordering of custom-made PPE.
- Organise the collection of workplace laundry and the distribution of cleaned items on a weekly
- Organise repair and replacement of ATEX radios for personnel across the site, maintain an asset register for radios and ensure spares are always kept available.
- Proficient user of IT, including MS office.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your own work.
- Confident and self-motivated to take initiative.
- Ability to take ownership and resolve issues competently and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Diligent with excellent attention to detail.
- Personable and team orientated.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain, Purchasing or Planning would be an advantage.
