**Salary £28,000-£30,000 plus performance bonus of approx. £3,000 depending on performance**
Hours 8-5pm Monday-Thursday (fully office based) in a relaxed office environment. For the right candidate, some flexibility around on-site working hours can be agreed once the job is established.
8-4pm Fridays when a lunch hour can be worked through to leave earlier.

The successful candidate will be supporting the UK Field based sales Managers and will take ownership of direct management accounts. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to ensure the client is a supplier of choice. Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience in a similar sales supporting role. Upselling, cross selling to existing clients and working to drive existing sales for 300 Accounts once up to speed.
Working in a team of 5 reporting to the Sales Manager.
This role is 70% heavily admin and customer service based. 20% upselling to existing clients and 10% liaising with the company's field-based team who drive new sales. You will initially be looking after 100-200 existing account portfolio which will rise once you gain experience in the role. It's important that you are able to converse with a variety of different clients and personalities so someone that is personable, upbeat and passionate about the company and business. The role is a very busy one requiring someone that is able to pick up new procedures quickly and is a fast learner.
Duties:
- Work with internal and external sales colleagues to drive customer growth and ensure continued development of new business pipeline
- need to be aware of the difference between cost price and sales pricing. This is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
- Manage customer pricing to deliver increased margins
- Provide internal sales support on administration, quotes, service and quality issues.
- Ensure orders are accurately captured and entry onto the CRM system to deliver daily service promise
- Excel KPI targets given will reward a bonus based on performance
- Take ownership of approx. 150-300+ existing Accounts once up to speed
- Adhoc duties that may arise from the sales Manager
- Develop effective links across the business especially commercial, technical, credit and procurement.
Essential:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Needs to be organised, motivated and energetic
- Commercial experience within B2B Trading environment
- Strong track record of delivery of commercial targets
- Effective time management
- Strong attention to detail
- Drive to reach and exceed targets
- Be able to work in a team
- Competent on Microsoft word and Excel is a necessity.
