A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time permanent HR Administrator in Hertford, Hertfordshire.
The candidate will ideally have experience in a HR environment previously or possibly recruitment. Lots of scope to learn all aspects of HR. The candidate will need to have strong Administration skills and previous proven work experience.
Salary- £23,000 rising to £24,000 after completing a successful probation period.
Working hours - 37.5 hours per week
9-5pm Monday - Friday with a requirement to work Saturday mornings on a rota basis (approx. 6 per year) with time off in lieu.
The candidate will be working in a team of 3 and reporting to the HR Manager with lots of scope for progression.

Duties to include:
- Carry out a wide range of administration duties relating to all aspects of work in the HR with their new HR system but not limited to recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, learning and development, benefits management and off-boarding Day to day duties to include managing candidate applications and interviews. new starter screening checks, writing, distributing and chasing general correspondence, Scanning and filing, minute taking and housekeeping.
- ensure all work is supported with appropriate audit trails and maintained to the highest standards. supported by clear organised and accurate filing
- Make use of appropriate systems, tools and resources in order to complete duties in the most efficient and effective way Support and assist the small team of three and HR Manager in driving new strategies and monitoring best practices
- undertake appropriate training to ensure that skills and knowledge remain up to date.

- Previous HR experience would be beneficial or from a recruitment background
- A self-starter and fast learner as the teamwork at a fast pace with exceptional communication with strong Administration skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft Applications including excel at an intermediate level
- Knowledge of UK Employment law is desirable but not necessary
- Organised with the ability to multitask
