- Description
- This is a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator with a genuine interest in pursuing a career within a HR environment. The successful candidate will be keen to learn and develop whilst working as part of a friendly HR team within an organisation where you will be encouraged and nurtured to fulfil your potential. The successful candidate will have a least 1-2 years working within a commercial environment. They will also be happy getting involved in all aspects of HR and supporting the HR Manager by carrying out a wide range of HR related duties.
Duties will include:
- Providing administrative support to the HR Manager
- Dealing with initial questions and queries from personnel within the business
- Act as a point of contact for the HR team
- Provide guidance on HR related issues
- Build strong relationships within the team and the wider business and ensure HR is visible
- Support recruitment activities, by liaising internally and externally to organise interviews, send offers and produce contracts
- Assist with the production of job descriptions
- Manage inboxes and data bases
- Assist with the management of payroll
- Update cascade with employee information
- Analyse data to produce reports
- Liaising with new starters and assisting with inductions
- Manage the administration relating to annual leave, sickness and absence
- Keep abreast and informed of changes in HR policy that may affect the business
Skills, experience and attributes
- Strong desire to forge a career within a HR environment
- Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
- Detail orientated and accurate
- Builds good relationships and can be both empathetic and assertive
- Plans and organises effectively and efficiently
- Understands the importance of discretion and confidentiality
- Enjoys working as part of a team but can also work independently
- Proficient user of MS Office and Databases
- Is flexible and willing to muck to meet business needs
- Happy to deal with any issues of problems and see them through to resolution
