I           PURPOSE OF JOB:
 
             Based in Harlow, Essex. The Warehouse Operative will work in the stores and assembly area. Receiving and despatching goods on a daily basis and performing     Quality Control checks in line with company procedures. 

**This role is a temp to perm position for the right candidate**
 
 
 II        REPORTS TO:
 
            The Operations Manager
 
 
III       PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

• Receiving and despatching goods.

 

• Planning storage allocation

 

• Quality control checks

 

• Picking and packing goods in line with customer requirements

 

• Loading and unloading Lorries

 

• Ensuring all stock areas are clean and tidy

 

• Inventory Checks

 

• Handling customer returns

 

• Small batch assembly, including soldering and testing of products when required.

 

• Ordering packaging supplies

 

• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping

4. Previous Warehouse Assembly experience would be an advantage but not essential
5. Fork Lift truck Licence holder
6. Interpersonal communication at all levels, both internally and externally

8. Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel desirable.
