- This is a fantastic opportunity for an Events Coordinator, to join a global leader who offer great prospects for talented individuals who are seeking a career where they can take responsibility and add value. The role will involve supporting and working closely with the Events Team Leader and other stakeholders within the business, to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Events Team for both internal and external events.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications

- Customer Centric, builds positive relationships
- Proficient user of technology, competent user of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- Ability to use initiative and resolve issues or problems
- Works effectively both individually and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable, willingness to take responsibility
- Project management experience – highly desirable
- Administration experience – highly desirable
- Events coordination experience – desirable
- All aspects of event planning in line with budget
- Taking and collating information for initial proposed events
- Support sales staff by creating event forms
- Check details of proposed events and obtain approval as required
- Challenge as appropriate and apply best practice with regards to cost, value and/or compliance
- Arrange travel and accommodation for all events
- Procure event merchandise as required
- Create event packs and name badges, etc.
- Create confirmation itineraries, arrange tickets, delegate queries
- Collate all legal documentation: contracts, disclaimers, insurance, terms and conditions
- Attend event when required and ensure event runs smoothly and to plan
- Accurate, timely post event reporting, to include cost comparison analysis
- Maintain the Events inbox and diary
- Keeping accurate records and maintaining internal systems
- Create and develop systems and processes for monitoring and reporting
- Develop internal and external relationships to achieve best practice and service
