£22,000 - £24,000 per annum Permanent, Full-Time Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm Industrial Sewing machinist of X Ray protective equipment Do you have experience using industrial sewing machines in an industrial environment? If so, we have an excellent opportunity in Harlow, Essex as an Industrial sewing machinist working both independently and as part of a team. You will be producing x ray protective equipment and clothing for leading suppliers of medical equipment. Key duties;
To use lock stitch, binding and zig zag machines as per instructions/training.
To sew cut parts into complete items referencing templates, work instructions and/or samples to product x ray shields
To cut materials and trims following patterns to produce aprons
To keep the sewing machines in a clean and regularly oiled condition and report any faults to the Team Leader.
To work within guidelines/instructions to ensure traceability is maintained.
To carry out duties in a proper and efficient manner, with a focus on quality and commitment to the interests of the Company and to comply with the Company Rules and Regulations.
