This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior HRBP/Senior HR Advisor to join an organisation who are a progressive global leader and have built a reputation for providing service excellence.
This role will be offered as a 12 month maternity cover and the remit will be to act as a first point of contact for providing comprehensive generalist advice and guidance with a strong emphasis on business transformation. The role will also have responsibility for their own client group (the Business Support Teams – BST) to contribute to the delivery excellence and consistency in people management and development.
Role Purpose

- Building a People Team recognised as a customer centric, strategic partner supporting growth by championing and leading the development of a great, personalised colleague experience built on fit for purpose people processes
- Experience working in a HR generalist role where trusted relationships are imperative to success
- Able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues
- Confident and objective when challenging the business and able to offer pragmatic guidance and advice to support the business achieve their objectives
- Experience of transformation and T&C alignment initiatives
- Able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the employee life cycle
- Up to date knowledge of UK Employment Law and Practice and experience of providing sound advice and guidance on ER matters and policy interpretation to ensure decisions and recommendations meet both legal and commercial requirements
Knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- CIPD qualified or working towards the qualification
- Ability to negotiate confidently with managers within the business
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Detail orientated
- Committed to high quality and service excellence
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing, with an adaptive in style to meet the expectations of a varying range of colleagues and customers
- High appreciation of dealing with sensitive / confidential information and GDPA legislation
- Proficient user of technology –experience of all Microsoft Office packages
- Good understanding of how to use and draw insight from MI/People data
- Highly collaborative in approach, solutions orientated, flexible, open, and willing to try new things and support other members of the team when required
- Curious, self-aware, open to feedback and with a strong commitment to personal and professional development
