Mosaic Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an experience HR Advisor to join a dynamic organisation based in Hatfield.
This is a Hybrid role with split working from home and in the office (2 days in office - flexible).
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as first line advisor to managers and colleagues on a wide range of operational people issues
- Case management including providing advice, guidance and support on performance management, disciplinary, absence, capability and grievance issues, escalating more complex matters through to the HR Business Partner
- Responsible for absence management, carrying out monthly review of absence data and providing proactive advice to managers in connection with attendance and performance issues
- Liaise with occupational health providers in terms of ill-health referrals or general support/counselling
- Advise on the application of the Advancement Appraisal system and monitor and report ahead of calibration meetings
- Work closely with the HR Business Partners to ensure open and timely communication on issues within their areas of responsibility and provide support on larger scale organisational change exercises
- Policy and process review including providing recommendations on improvements and adaptations in line with best practice and employment law
- Support processes and forums for information and consultation with colleagues With the People Services Delivery Manager and other colleagues in the People Team
- Participate in cross functional business projects / activities as required

- To undertake any duties as agreed with the People Services Delivery Manager consistent with the scope of the job
Person Specification:
- CIPD qualified - minimum level 5
- Minimum of three years’ experience in an HR Advisory role with a focus on employee relations
- Up to date knowledge of UK Employment Law and Practice and experience of providing sound advice and guidance on ER matters and policy interpretation to ensure decisions and recommendations meet both legal and commercial requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and committed to high quality
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing, and adaptive in style to meet the needs of different colleagues and customers
- Able to build strong relationships with line managers and colleagues
- High appreciation of dealing with sensitive / confidential information and GDPA legislation
- Digitally savvy and computer literate – good working knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office packages
- Highly collaborative in approach, solutions orientated, flexible and open and willing to try new things and support other members of the team when required
- Curious, self-aware, open to feedback and with a strong commitment to personal and professional development
