We have an opportunity for a Supply Chain specialist to join a growing organisation as a senior member of the team to work with all business areas and strategies to understand the needs and requirements to help business delivery sales targets and their Advance Innovation plans.
As Head of Supply Chain, you must be able to analyse data and processes, find creative solutions, generate reports, and present findings to senior management and other departments, communicate with external suppliers and buyers, comprehend legal documents, and developing lasting relationships with others. You must be a proactive problem solver with a desire to collaborate with others.
This role is pivotal in vastly improving the overall efficiency of the Company from budgeting, forecasting, trend and risk analysis as well as accurate and timely reporting.
Duties will include:
- Supervise the team of business support staff
- Work with management team on fiscal strategic planning
- Look into the legal obligations relating to contractual relationships with the client and ensure that the obligations are met
- Work in partnership with other management team members to ascertain and carry out needs of technical nature and precedence of the business
- Provide guidance and financial planning to the business
- Provide documentation support, procedure and financial initiatives for the business
- Be responsible for the administration of the business unit
- Support the budget, auditing process, training and the coordination of projects.
Experience, knowledge, skills & qualifications required:
- Degree in and experience in supply chain management or equivalent
- Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
- Experience of managing a team
- Working experience of relevant software
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Creative problem-solving
- A strategic and analytical mind
- Ability to evaluate, appraise, cost, and consider business risks
- Expertise in training and developing of staff
- Strong ability to deliver presentations
- Ability to review the procedure for support and to pinpoint opportunities to develop the efficiency of business
