This is a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Programmer to join a reputable Harlow business. They are family run and have been established for many years.
A huge pull of this role is the company’s recent transition to a 4 DAY WORKING WEEK, Monday – Thursday (8am – 6pm). There will however still be opportunities for overtime when work demands this.
The machine shop floor has a team of 19, mostly long-standing employees who are experts of their trade.
The correct person for this role would have the following skills:
- Experienced CNC Programmer using Fanuc controls (Turning) and Mitsubishi/Fanuc/Haas (Milling).
- Experience of setting and running 2 Axis CNC Lathes
- Experience of setting and running 3 Axis CNC Milling machines, with the ability to set and run with little instructions or supervision.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM would be desirable but not necessary
The nature of the work involves mainly short and medium batches and therefore the ability to set independently your machines is critical.
The correct candidate must possess a positive attitude coupled with good team working skills, being prepared to work overtime as and when required.
