This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrator to work in a small team of three, dealing with all transport and logistics queries in a busy environment.
Our client is an international company with a huge portfolio of products. They are truly a modern-day company, pushing boundaries for their customers.
This role will be based in the standalone logistics office, which is within the depot of the company’s courier service.
You will be open to dealing with logistical and transport queries daily, resolving issues and having determination to ensure the customer receives the best possible service.
Main duties:
- Use the available systems to monitor outbound deliveries and customer returns into the warehouse to ensure all delays or issues are picked up and resolved promptly.
- Take ownership of these issues and work with colleagues and LSPs to resolve them promptly and effectively.
- Create routine KPI reports on delivery/return performance.
- Investigate specific incidents as required and recommend corrective or remedial actions.
- Identify continuous improvement areas, develop improvement ideas, and follow them through to completion.
- Contribute to a positive, high quality service culture within the Logistics Department.
