Mosaic Recruitment are looking for an enthusiastic, self-starting IT Support Assistant.
You will be working as part of a small team to provide 1st and 2nd line support and technical assistance to all users of the companies Information Technology systems and infrastructure, maintaining excellent customer service and proactive service delivery.
Duties will include:
• To investigate and progress first and second-line IT service desk tasks from users and third-party
software suppliers through to resolution
• Promote best practice by ensuring that, users are aware of, and comply with IT Acceptable
Usage and Security Policies, General Data Protection Regulation, Code of Conduct, and
the Computer Misuse Act
• Administer, maintain and document the IT systems to ensure continual improvements in service
• Maintain the internal IT knowledge base of technical and user documentation to provide up to date
and informative content
• Deliver user training to promote and maximise the utilisation of infrastructure and software facilities
• Plan, co-ordinate and manage the installation, maintenance and upgrade of all desktop hardware
and software ensuring that changes are implemented with minimal disruption
• Undertake any other responsibilities relevant to this post, as directed by your line manager.
The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills and excellent experience in installing and supporting PCs, printers & mobile devices.
There will be some heavy lifting & carrying of bulky/heavy equipment on a regular basis.
