This is a senior role that comes with 6 reports – it includes managing the whole HR function (including ER, recruitment, payroll, learning and development) The successful candidate will very much be joining a team that’s on a journey to change in the post Covid workplace.
This is a hybrid interim role with a view to being advertised on a permanent basis.
You will provide a strategic focus and approach to the businesses management of its employees which supports and contributes to the development and achievement of the businesses objectives and targets.
You will support Senior Management Board and manage the Human Resources function and payroll.
Provision of a strategic focus for the HR service
Workforce Planning
Comprehensive HR, L&D, Payroll and Recruitment service
Development of polices etc
To implement the human resources strategy, reviewing and updating to reflect changes to the businesses vision and targets.
Develop recruitment and retention strategies with partners, taking action to address key future occupational skill shortages, promote jobs and careers; identify, develop and motivate talent and address diversity issues.
Review the pay and rewards structures, to reflect new structures and new ways of working and to reinforce high performance. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth consultation process and implementation of pay and pay structures.
Take overall responsibility for the efficient operation of Human Resources and payroll related matters.
Take overall responsibility for the fair, consistent and effective operation of the job evaluation scheme, and related matters.
Advise SMB, Managers and Members on all aspects of pay and reward, and lead development of new initiatives.
Manage the business pension scheme and Pension related Policies and reviewed and up to date with legislation.
Manage the relationship with recognised trade unions at regional and local level as appropriate.
Be responsible for e-learning and other L&D functions.
