This is a great opportunity for a recent School or College leaver who is looking for their first office-based role.

Office Support – Administration and Sales Support

Sawbridgeworth

Permanent

Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm

£16,000 per annum

The candidate will take on the responsibilities of being our customers first point of contact, processing sales orders, monitoring customers deliveries and ensuring they arrive on time with no issues, general customers service calls and office duties / admin.

This is a full-time role based at our HQ in Sawbridgeworth.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Take / process orders and send SO confirmation to the customer
  • Dealing with the warehouse daily and resolving any delivery issues when they occur.
  • Updating customer price files
  • Customer service
  • Acknowledges all customers by responding to emails and phone calls
  • Updating all contact information for customers on company system
  • Does any necessary administrative work including filing reports or presenting sales team with necessary documents
  • Organising sample requests for the Sales Team
  • Screening calls and taking detailed, accurate messages where necessary
  • Photocopying, scanning and filing all company documents
  • Organising refreshments for meetings
  • Welcoming visitors, assisting with signing in and seating them in the waiting area
  • Assisting the operations with regular health and safety checks
  • Ad-hoc secretarial duties, including running personal errands for management

Skills

  • A positive and upbeat attitude
  • Local to Sawbridgeworth would be a bonus
  • Previous use of Microsoft Office & Excel would be a benefit
  • Works well under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Team player
  • Perfect for a 1st or 2nd job for office experience as full training will be provided
