Rare opportunity to join a fast paced rapidly developing business which seeks an equally dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager, who working closely with the Senior Management will help to lead the business in a time of accelerated and sustained growth. This is a key position, and the suitable candidate will have strong business management qualifications and suitably experienced in this type of role.
You must be capable of working independently in an exciting, fast-paced setting requiring initiative, strong organization, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and prioritize accordingly.
The role will evolve as the business continues to grow and you will be expected to welcome a culture of continuous improvement and development, both within your role and as part of your personal and professional capacity.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Play an integral part in generating new sales leads that will turn into long-lasting business relationships
- Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of existing major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key client’s needs and requirements
- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal stakeholder teams
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Prepare regular reports of progress/performance and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
- Expand the brand outreach by attending trade shows, marketing, and digital marketing i.e., LinkedIn etc.
- Analyse trends, data, demographics, and other information that could potentially improves sales and marketing performance
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a self-starter Key Account Leadership, or relevant role within the Electrical Industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in General Business or Marketing and other relevant certifications will be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, CRM, Salesforce, or similar software
- Vast experience with clients, internal teams, and stakeholder management
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to details, organisational, priority management and leadership skills
- Deadline driven
