This exciting company is offering a new opportunity to join their rapidly expanding global team in the role of Operations Assistant, within their busy Operations team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing to ensure quality service levels and cost expectations are delivered. You will be given autonomy to operate independently within a supportive and dynamic team.  Full training over a 12-month development period will be provided, with the potential to obtain CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) certification in the future, in line with performance.

Your salary will be £25k - 28k per year, depending on experience. 

The successful candidate will:

• Possess excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Have advanced experience in working with Excel, and previous experience of SAP Business One is preferable
• Have the ability to communicate in an effective and succinct manner at all levels
• Be comfortable in supplier negotiations
• Be proficient in dealing with a high volume of SKU’s for a wide range of suppliers
• Enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Experience of dealing with international suppliers
• Have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a comparable role
• Have obtained 3 A Level’s (or equivalent qualification)
