Permanent, Full Time
Salary (combined) £45,000 to £50,000 (some overtime available) and non-contributory pension
Fully furnished one bed flat provided inclusive of all utilities
Job Description
Residential couple required for a very prestigious organisation based in the City of London to act as Caretaker and Porter for security, maintenance and general duties. Accommodation, furnished one bed flat with services, is included within this Grade 1 Listed mansion building.
Usual weekday duties involve an all-embracing range of maintenance and estate responsibilities including daily front of house duties, porterage, catering (by private arrangement), external cleaning, woodwork and decorating, security and fire alarm management, purchasing and ordering of supplies, supervision and escorting of tradespeople and contractors.
Successful candidates will be experienced, adaptable, flexible, hard-working, cooperative, discreet and willing to embrace the traditions and customs of the organisation.
Usual Hours: 35 per week each – split hours - residency required at night with compensating holiday arrangements.
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience within a maintenance/caretaking role
Good level of English essential
Proven communication skills both verbal and written as well as good numeracy skills
No pets, no dependent children, non-smokers.
