- Description
We are seeking an Administrator/Document Controller who would like to join a friendly family business who value their employees and offer a supportive working environment. The role involves assisting and supporting the operations and business development departments with day to day administrative and planning duties.
Duties:
- Production of Operation, Maintenance Manuals and Health and Safety files in conjunction with the Senior Document Controller.
- Management of the Smart Waste registration and reporting statistics for all live sites.
- Update company database systems a with relevant opportunity, tender and project information.
- Arranging departmental meetings for Operations and Commercials heads.
- Deal with incoming calls to head office for Operations and Commercial Departments acting as part of the support team.
- Printing and preparing documentation as required including but not limited to manuals, drawing, sub-contract orders.
- Maintain and administer industry specific programmes and provide support to site staff in conjunction with document control.
- Provide administrative support to the Business Development Director, including diary management, meeting scheduling and the collation of data and reports as required.
- Undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties within both the Operations and Commercial departments to maintain operational excellence.
- Assist in the organisation and support of events such as facilitation meeting and project milestone events.
- Assist in marketing and social media content in conjunction with the Proposals manager, liaising with sites to gather information.
Skills and attributes:
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and Project.
- Confident using Adobe Design Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop.
- Familiar with Databases and CRM Systems.
- Confident user of search engines for research purposes.
- Competent using social media.
- Excellent team player who can take responsibility.
- Forges good relationships with colleagues, clients’ and suppliers.
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent level.
