This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced generalist HR Manager/Advisor to join an established and award winning business, who have strong links within the community. The successful candidate will be CIPD level 5 or equivalent qualified and will enjoy developing relationships with both existing and potential external clients, they will also be someone who is a networker by nature and who is confident offering advice and solutions on a wide variety of issues to multiple and diverse organisations.
There will be occasional travel required so you must have a full, clean driving licence.
Main Tasks
• Nurture and promote relationships with existing clients
• Networking to promote the brand, products and services
• Developing relationships with new clients, identifying their needs and the appropriate solutions
• Identifying new opportunities to build the business and broaden the client base
• Lead client review meetings to ensure that expectations have been met, deliverables achieved
• Working with the marketing team to produce articles, blogs, newsletters and develop the website and social media platforms
• Draft contracts, Staff Handbooks and policies for clients tailored to their individual needs
• Provide advice and assistance on policies, procedures and employment legislation
• Provide onsite and telephone support relating to disciplinary and grievance investigations
• Provide on demand products and services for our ad hoc clients
• Undertake strategic HR solutions for our clients requiring strategic HR project support
• Assist clients in articulating issues relating to workplace relations and performance management and identifying the underlying causes
• Provide practical and pragmatic guidance of solution options, ensuring that the client is aware and agrees to any risks associated with the chosen solution
• Produce detailed written guidance notes giving clear direction to clients
• Answering incoming calls and emails from clients on day to day HR matters (e.g. employee relation matters, HR software queries, holiday entitlement queries etc.)
• Administer and update the HR software portal for our clients, adding new clients on and making system amendments for existing clients
• Preparing quotes for work for new clients
• Carrying out compliance checks for our clients including driver, licence, and right to work checks.
