We have a great new opportunity for a tenacious and driven Sales Manager to join a successful and prominent organisation within the construction and temporary works sector.
Previous industry experience will be essential, along with a proven record of delivering results and maximising business opportunities.

• As this is a field-based role it is essential that you possess a full driving licence
Key duties;
The role of Sales Manager is a field-based position focusing on growing the business through opportunities within a postcode-based geography, whether it be from existing, lapsed or brand-new customers and schemes. Working with colleagues across the business, the aim is to maximise sales revenue and profitability of temporary works solutions through lead and appointment generation, the completion of design briefs, negotiation of quotes, order closing and ownership of customer engagement initiatives.
Key aspects of delivering effectively in the role include:
• Regular visits to new, prospect and existing customers, independently or in collaboration with a Field Engineer
• A self-generated drive for identifying & winning new customers and projects requiring pre or engineered schemes
• Supporting the development of national/key accounts
• Identifying large schemes and progressing the opportunities in collaboration with the BDM and engineering team
• Proactive growth of your own commercial market knowledge and expertise through consultant & trade networking, industry journals and events etc.
