A large supplier and wholesaler is looking for a experienced stock and supply planner, this is a growing industry that could offer long term progression.

The offices are commutable from Braintree, Chelmsford and Colchester.

You must have experience of a range of Stock Keeping Unit’s to ensure supply meets demand in a timely and cost effective manner.

Duties will include:

• Hold appropriate finished stock in to ensure you can meet demand.
• Ensure forecasts are agreed with account managers before raising purchase orders.
• To “meet” regularly with suppliers and packaging suppliers to build relationships and ensure the smooth process of supply chain
• To manage materials and packaging levels via 3^rd parties to ensure demand for products and own brand are met.
• Ensure containers and sequenced and costed accordingly.
• Ensure stakeholders are kept up to date with the shipping schedules
• Scheduling of shipments to 3^rd parties directly as well as to site
• Organising stock for direct deliveries and third party warehouses.
• Dealing with queries from HM Revenue & Customs and Ports.

Key Skills:

• Excellent Analytical skills.
• Be able to effectively account mange suppliers and customers
• Great knowledge of Excel and MS
• Good understanding of planning systems & packages
• Attention to detail and the ability to recognise where process efficiencies can be made
• Must be proactive and a forward thinker
• SAP experience
• ERP and planning software
