We are working with a globally recognised organisation who are currently recruiting for a Graduate Trainee Compliance Officer to join their offices in Hatfield.
Joining this well-established company, you will provide administrative support to the company compliance operations.
The successful candidate will have a business-related degree and have excellent organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail. Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
You will work Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm.

MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To help maintain and monitor all aspects of the ongoing Compliance activities within the business, ensuring all regulatory and Corporate requirements are fulfilled, documented, and communicated in a professional and supportive manner.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Training and support will be given;
• Support with application, adoption and compliance to all relevant company policies
• Document, test and audit Branch Internal Controls
• Conduct nationwide Fixed Asset audits
• Conduct adhoc internal audits
• Oversee the completion of various Compliance spreadsheets and checksheets and Business Unit Risk Assessments
• Monitor weakness remediation progress and process changes
• Administrate SAP Profiles
• Assist with Compliance training activities and maintain employee Compliance training records
• Upload and maintain policies and procedures on the Branch intranet
• Conduct adhoc general admin. duties inc. making travel and meeting room bookings
• Understand MELCO Environmental Audits, Branch ISO14001 accreditation, Battery Reporting, WEEE Reporting, REACH and RoHS legislative obligations
• Understand and comply with all relevant company policies.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE and COMPETENCIES:
• IT competent and confident using MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Analytical process documentation skills
