We have a fantastic opportunity for Drupal Developer who is available immediately, the successful candidate will be a Senior Web Developer with a minimum of three years’ experience working with mixture of both front and back end and eCommerce solutions.

This role is an office-based, hands-on role and projects will range from simple static websites to enterprise level platforms. Many of the solutions offered are customer facing, but we also develop in-house solutions to support our entire business.

Duties
 

• Assume responsibility for all phases of the software lifecycle
• Take ownership of solutions from inception, through to delivery, maintenance and decommissioning Contribute to several concurrent projects
• Develop high quality code as required by the Web Development Lead
• Support operations, performing bug-fixes, enhancements and maintenance as required
• Learn and familiarise themselves with existing code and platforms and take ownership
• Deliver solutions within agreed timescales
• Adhere to development policies
• Develop compliant solutions at all times
• Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct

Essential Skills

• Drupal 7, including module development
• PHP 5.6+
• MySQL
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery

Desirable Skills

• RESTful Web Service
• Bootstrap CSS framework
• AJAX
• Version Control using Git

Successful candidate will have at least 3 years proven hands-on working experience in

• Frontend Web Solutions
• Backend Web Solutions
• eCommerce Solutions
• Bootstrap or similar Responsive CSS Framework
• Development and consumption of RESTful APIs
