We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced School Office/Administration Manager to join a large, prestigious school in Hertfordshire.
This is a new and pivotal role where you will be responsible for bringing together and managing a full range of administrative support to both the academic and support functions. You will be the conduit between a number of departments demonstrating a collaborative and diplomatic approach to the management of all aspects of the administrative support service.
Tasked with streamlining and provision of an efficient administrative service, you will lead and develop a team of Administrator across all functions to deliver a compliant and trusted flow of information and tasks. As a leader of this customer service function you will champion communication to parents, offer a high level of administrative support, prepare documents and literature and ensure quality, compliance and accuracy is at the forefront of every task. You will also provide effective management of the content of the School Management Information System.
You will have a wide range of duties and line management responsibility across all departments and functions and seek to foster a culture of collaborative working along with a culture of efficiency in administrative practices.
Educated to degree level you will have previous experience as a Business/Office Manager in an educational environment and experience of managing a team. You will also have previous experience of being responsible for managing the operations database for a large organisation.
A confident, self-motivated and proactive team player who leads by example you will motivate and foster high expectations and standards within others.
You will have exceptional organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise, working to deadlines under pressure. You will be articulate; have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and have a high attention to detail.
Excellent benefits and working conditions, this role is over 52 weeks, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and one Saturday in four with a day off in lieu.
