We have a new temporary opportunity become available for our client who are based in Bishop’s Stortford.
We are looking for an experienced School Office Manager who is available immediately for this ongoing assignment. The successful candidate will have a proven background within a School environment and have experience of managing a team.
You will be assertive, confident and can work in a fast paced and demanding role. Knowledge of SIMS would be an advantage but not essential.
Due to the location, you will need to have access to your own transport.

The working hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week.
Overall responsibilities;
- To act as the Personal Assistant to the Director of Education and the Head of School in the development and co-ordination of administrative systems.
- A key element of the post is to liaise with local authorities, social care managers and families.
- To maintain a high standard of records, promoting communication between teams of staff.
- To develop and maintain systems necessary for the smooth running of the service, ensuring that key priorities are met.
- To arrange and attend key meetings, take notes and distribute relevant paperwork in a prompt and professional manner.
- To manage other administrative posts within the School, ensuring that all post holders receive regular supervisions and appraisals in line with organisational policy.
- To ensure premises and equipment within the administrative service are of a reasonable and acceptable standard.
- To oversee and support financial controls, maintaining accurate records.
