We are currently seeking IT Technicians/IT Support workers with excellent customer service experience for an eight day temporary role that is due to commence on Tuesday 25th August – The first day will be a training day and the hours worked will be 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
The following seven working days will be from Wednesday 26th August until Tuesday 1st September and will incorporate working the Saturday, Sunday and Monday for the August Bank Holiday weekend. The hours on these days will be 9.00 am – 8.00 pm. There will be a free lunch provided on all working days. PPE and Social distancing measures will be observed and adhered to.
The role will suit candidates who have an aptitude for technology and who have either worked in an IT environment or have studied for an IT qualification. The position will involve setting up technology devices for users and supporting them to gain access to Wi-Fi and other systems. We are seeking candidates who are enthusiastic and reliable and will go the extra mile to ensure that customers receive a first-class experience.
The role will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Summary of Duties
- Setting up users will take approximately 20 minutes per person
- Issuing usernames and passwords
- Helping users to connect their devices to Wi-Fi and assisting with any issues
- Ensuring users are able to login to Google G Suite
- Enrolling iPads
- Taking pupil ID photos
Skills and Attributes
