Description

We have a great new opportunity for a Temporary Estates and Facilities Officer, based in the outskirts of Bishop’s Stortford.

Due to the location of this role, you will need to have access to your own transport.

This is a temporary role and is likely to last between 4-6 months.

The successful candidate will need to be efficient, organised, and assertive and have the ability to manage a high volume of tasks. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, a great telephone manner with an ability to work under pressure.

A background in facilities would be highly advantageous.

Part of this role will be to create an efficient and organised process that works for all parts of the business and is also cost effective.

Responsibilities;

  • Ensure all calls are answered in a timely, professional and polite manner
  • Ensure all maintenance activity is scheduled into the schedules
  • Program any reactive or emergency works within agreed service levels
  • Liaise with the Managers regularly
  • Follow Company administration
  • Undertake any other reasonable instruction from the Manager

Profile;

  • You will be professional and with warm and approachable nature
  • Able to work in a demanding environment with high standards and tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to liaise with all levels
  • Ability to using initiative and plan ahead with a 'can do attitude’ and a team spirit with a sense of humour.
